Why visualization is important in spiritual life...
One day you feel there should be more to life and begin to look up at the sky rather than down to the screen. It instantly causes you to breathe deeper, become more relaxed, expanded and creative. Many people brush it off as wishful thinking or with the thought that they "don't have time for this". But you found meaning in such subtle guidance which caused you to cross the threshold to prioritizing the spiritual area of life (at least temporarily).
While the desire to dive into the unknown is hot, you realize that sooner or later you'll share your discoveries with family and friends who might not understand you.
People depend much on others' opinions, but who are those "others"? Persons just like you who've experienced happy and unhappy times. In many cases troubled feelings and perceptions get stored in the subconscious mind to serve as a programming for as long as it is permitted. Then you get acquainted with the Free Will concept: to do or not to do, constant workings of the mind trying to get you back to where you were before.
Now you have to deal with your mind. "This is harder than I thought", - you might say.
Think of all the obstacles which create subconscious resistance/block and cause the conscious mind doubt. That would be the time to find inner courage to keep going believing in the use of a powerful gift of imaging and relationship with your Creator.
It is incredibly difficult for many to visualize, - practice, natural at birth yet slowly faded after the age of seven. Water and air pollution, radiation, chemicals and preservatives, twisted backward information, etc. also did not help the 3rd eye and crown to function properly: tuning in, channeling, projecting, attracting and more. The good news is that these abilities were given to everyone at conception, within the human DNA, for it is written: "ye are gods"(Ps.82).
What do gods do? - Co-create (visualize, speak what you desire).
Genesis 1: "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness."
To visualize is not so different from remembering: memories of events, feelings, words, sounds, facial expressions... How do you replay them all in your mind? You visualize that which you believe has already occurred. When? In the past. Then how are you doing it years later in the now? Or better yet in the future of the original event? You are constructing a situation based on the story you filtered out, processed to be true.
That is exactly how to visualize. It is important to exercise this ability because it allows you to add features such as telepathy, clairvoyance, clairaudience with Angels, Nature, Animal and even element kingdoms.
You've heard of "gifted people". What if they earned this title because they kept working on those abilities while others gave up even trying. That would make them stand out and be "special" in the eyes of others.
You are gifted too just because you are a child of God; please gain strength to believe to the point of knowing that you can visualize and project.
When interested in spirituality, you upgrade into a newer version of self through an internal process of progression. So making changes is crucial in growing. If a place you live in reminds you of painful experiences that happened there, you have a choice to heal there or heal in a new place simply because constant reminders of the past could be a stumbling block, dragging down feelings while trying to keep the vibes high. This high - low gets you mentally exhausted and you may even get an idea to quit.
That is why coincidences and synchronicities assist in making your dreams come true.
When you know you cannot continue same living, you generate multiple probable realities towards which you have a choice and free will to act. Remember: you are always accompanied by guardian Angels who want you to succeed. If you think: what do they care? Let me tell you from human thinking: them caring for you is a contracted job which gets fulfilled when you "graduate". Then you move on to the next level and so do they, it is a two-way street, win-win, catch 22. Everyone wants a better life, even those in the non-physical.
The hard part is doing it and believing that it will all be worth some day. And if you've ever thought to yourself: "the more I know the more I don't know", that is also a part of your growth. The more you evolve the more open you become to the vastness of possibilities and opportunities. The Cosmos is beyond infinite. By being a resident of the Cosmos, you get to explore the unlimited. It is all for you, perfect creation for co-creators and vice versa.
Hope by now you acknowledge your efforts and strength to continue growing your wings which will carry you home where you come from.

Hi, Raisa!
This was quite enjoyable and encouraging. The simple explanation of how our remembrances of ‘past’ events is a form of visualization truly helped.
The challenge for me has been lack of consistency because of lack of belief. Probably because of my thinking that the simplicity of visualizing was just that, too simple. I thought that it had to be more intricate or complex to truly work.
With this new perspective I am eager to begin anew, with excitement and positive expectation.
I am grateful to and for you and your continued sharing!
Blessings and hugs!
